Established in 2009, The Chinese Immersion School at De Avila is the 5th of San Francisco’s Chinese Immersion Programs. By providing a rigorous Chinese and English academic program in a fun and supportive environment, CIS gives children the confidence, scholastic preparation, and cognitive development they need to succeed in the 21st century. The benefits of CIS are not only academic; students are also part of a diverse and multi-lingual community which provides them with the opportunity to see the world through new lenses and to gain a better understanding of themselves and of the world. For New Incoming FamiliesWelcome to CIS! Our school offers new incoming families an opportunity to pair up with our current parent mentor. Our goal is to ensure you feel welcome to be a part of our community and answer your questions. If you would like to have a parent mentor and have not signed up for one or been contacted by one, please email cisnewfamilies@gmail.com. CalendarNewsRESOLVED: School Loop Login Issues with AD Accounts
Good Morning, Around 3:00 pm on Saturday afternoon, members of the SFUSD I.T. department noticed that user accounts tied to Active Directory (district username accounts) were unable to access School Loop and immediately began researching the issue. Dedicated I.T. staff continued their work late into Saturday evening and continued throughout Sunday in hopes of finding a resolution. As of 8:20 a.m. today, all login issues with School Loop user accounts tied to Active Directory have been resolved. While this is one of over 100 services that we were able to restore swiftly as planned, we unfortunately did not anticipate the problem with School Loop's customized AD integration applet. We do sincerely apologize for the service interruption and thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. We understand the importance of the work you do and it pains us greatly when technical issues interfere with that work. Thank you.
